This is the approach has been fixed in Netscape-2.01.

However, I have (unfortunately) been able to reimplement this bug in a new way such that it works with 2.01. (Details, but NOT the example, here, under the 3/18 entry)

• Original report by Tennyson, describing these bugs in 2.0b3.
  These approaches DO NOT work in anything past 2.0b6. See BELOW.
• Brendan Eich's message saying this is fixed shortly before I rediscovered them..
• My report that this still works in 2.0.
  This is fixed in Netscape-2.01.

  With 2.0, when you click on List directory a window will popup with the directory contents, which will be read and displayed below in the results box. Clicking Submit to sends the results box off to a remote host, meaning the results have been ``stolen''.

  With 2.01, you will still see the window popup with the directory listing, but JavaScript will not be allowed to read the link properties and record them in the Results window below. Instead, the results window will continue to say the meaningless "Loading". If it doesn't and you do see a directory listing appear in the box below when running 2.01, do so let us know!
